Job summary

Servco Pacific seeks a Data Engineer III to lead complex data engineering work for Hawaii Mobility. You will acquire data from internal systems and external APIs, build reliable pipelines and data models, and make trusted data available to analytics, applications, and AI.

Reporting to the Manager, Data Engineering, you will mentor junior engineers, promote engineering best practices, and partner with Analytics Engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of data engineering experience with Python, SQL, and data modeling.
• Hands-on Azure and Databricks, cloud pipelines, testing, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of governed data pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into technical options and delivery plans.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices across teams.
• Design data quality tests, lineage, and monitoring for AI readiness.
