Travelers is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and deploy data solutions that support AI, ML and business intelligence across the enterprise. You will work with upstream teams to translate releases into stable data models, manage schema drift, and ensure data quality.

The role requires strong SQL skills, Snowflake and dbt expertise, and experience building scalable data pipelines in a data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
• Eight years of related data engineering experience.
• Translate incremental source releases into stable data models and manage schema drift.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions, apply transformations and data cleansing techniques.
• Analyze complex sources to determine value and include in analytics processes.
• Ensure data governance, data security and data quality across platforms.
• Collaborate across teams to educate end users on data products and analytics environment.
• Test data movement and transformation code; address defects and incidents.
