Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Creator Services Data & Tech team in Culver City, CA. You will design and build robust ETL/ELT pipelines, curate data models, and own data platform components to empower analytics and AI initiatives across Amazon's creator ecosystem.

The role emphasizes production-grade data systems, collaboration with BI engineers and stakeholders, and applying AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda to scale data products.

Qualifications

3+ years of data engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of data warehouse architectures, data modeling, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools, and hands-on SQL coding.
Experience with database, data warehouse or data lake solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines that process data at scale with high reliability and performance.
Architect and curate data models, warehouses, and dimensional schemas that serve self-service analytics and AI initiatives.
Drive end-to-end ownership of data platform components from design to deployment and incident response.
Leverage AWS services to build scalable and cost-efficient data platforms.
Translate data needs into technical solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
