Job summary

St. Peter’s Health is seeking a Data Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain secure data pipelines and enterprise data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and informed decision-making.

You will transform data from Epic and other systems into governed, reusable assets, collaborating with analytics, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders. Strong SQL, Snowflake, healthcare data knowledge, and data governance are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of relevant data engineering or analytics experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience designing and supporting data extracts, transformations, and pipelines.
• Knowledge of data modeling, quality, integration, orchestration, monitoring, and support.
• Ability to document data mappings, business rules, and runbooks clearly.
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
