Everforth Apex, a leading IT services provider, is seeking a Data Engineer II with strong GCP and AI tooling experience. The hybrid role is based in SE Michigan with a long-term contract, focusing on scalable data infrastructure and modern analytics platforms.

The candidate will design data pipelines, model data, and build data warehouses, while integrating AI-assisted development tools and Gemini/GitHub Copilot into the workflow.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field (BS/MS).
• 4+ years of professional Data Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with data engineering, modeling, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on with GCP, BigQuery, data pipelines, and AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Ingest, transform, and load data into BigQuery and data warehouses.
• Develop data models and analytics tools for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business teams to define data requirements.
• Support data platforms including lakes and lakehouses.
• Develop automation and stored procedures as needed.
• Utilize GCP services like Cloud Functions and Data Fusion.
• Support Airflow/Astronomer workflows and AI-assisted development.
