Job summary

Allspring Global Investments Holdings, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Data Engineer II to design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end data pipelines within the Engineering and Technology Platform Data team.

You will mentor contractors, conduct code reviews, support L2/L3 production incidents, and collaborate with data stewards, product managers, and developers in a hybrid in-office model requiring 4 days on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or Master’s degree with 3+ years in CS or related field.
• 5+ years of Proficient/advanced SQL experience.
• 5+ years of experience with IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud) in Data Integration.
• 5+ years of Python or C# development experience.
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience.
• 3+ years of AWS Cloud or other cloud platform experience.
• 3+ years of investment management industry experience.
• Proven experience with Agile development and CI/CD DevOps.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understand data and lineage to source systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines end to end.
• Build relationships with Data Stewards, tech teams, PMs, Scrum managers, developers, and data users.
• Collaborate with experts to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.
• Perform code reviews and optimize performance; manage contractors and junior engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotation for L2/L3 production support and incident resolution.
