Job summary

Choice Hotels International, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 2 – Data Team for the SkyTouch Technology division in Scottsdale.

You will contribute to a cloud-based data platform, delivering reliable data architectures and collaborating with stakeholders to solve complex business use cases. You will build and maintain analytics pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models, while mentoring junior engineers and adopting the latest data technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS/GCP/Azure data lake technologies, preferably AWS.
• Hands-on experience with data tech: Analytics, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on software development focusing on data-driven problems.
• Design, develop, test and deploy software with Product and AIDLC teams.
• Promote best practices for reliability, scalability and performance.
