Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer II to design, build, and support scalable data solutions that empower Love’s analytics capabilities.

You will develop data pipelines, models, and integration frameworks to transform data into reliable, actionable information across the enterprise. You will partner with Technology teams, business stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to operationalize data products, apply DataOps practices, and promote reusable design

Qualifications

• Three+ years of progressive data engineering experience.
• Experience designing enterprise data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Experience with large, heterogeneous datasets.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern environments.
• Experience with SQL, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Develop scalable data integration solutions using ETL/ELT and APIs.
• Evaluate source data for master, reference, and transactional data needs.
• Lead data assessment, mapping, migration, and loading activities.
• Design reusable data models and solution architectures.
• Provide technical guidance and promote automated DevOps practices.
