Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Data Engineer I to design and optimize data pipelines that ensure reliable, accessible information across our operations. You will work with developers, analysts, and data scientists to enable data-driven decisions and scalable architectures.

You will develop and maintain data flows, improve data quality, and support cross-functional teams with Azure-based solutions in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in data engineering or a related technical role.
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and large datasets.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts—especially within Azure environments.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or Azure Synapse Analytics (preferred).
  • Ability to use data visualization tools such as Power BI (preferred).
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles (preferred).

Job Description
