Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Business Data Analyst I to turn data into actionable insights in a warehouse environment. You will build Power BI reports, model data, and collaborate with leadership to identify efficiency opportunities and cost reductions.

The role requires strong SQL/DAX skills, statistical knowledge, and ability to work independently. Onsite work is required if based in a warehouse; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of data analytics, BI, or related field.
• Hands-on SQL or Python/R experience to query, clean, and transform data.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboards/reports from scratch.
• Experience writing DAX expressions for Power BI reports.
• Strong statistical concepts and data modeling knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Must be able to work onsite if role based out of a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions
• Full development of Power BI including data visualization and back-end data model design
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements
• Collaborate with site and sector leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction
• Assist various functional teams (HR, Finance, etc.) with customized analytical solutions to meet evolving business needs
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports for internal and customer use
• Ability to leverage data from various systems that support our operations (Warehouse Management System, Timekeeping systems, etc.)
• Manage analytics projects independently, from concept to delivery
• Serve as a point of contact for Power BI-related questions and support

The Business Data Analyst I role has a national salary range of $70,000 - $115,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $115,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $115,000.

• Hands-on experience using SQL or other scripting languages (such as Python or R) to query, clean, and transform data, required
• Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and reports from scratch, required
• Experience writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports, required
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques, preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines, required
• Must be able to work fully onsite if role based out of a warehouse, required
