aFit is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead enterprise data architecture, governance, and cloud data platforms. You will design scalable data solutions, drive data quality, and partner with stakeholders to align data strategy with business objectives.

You will work on data integration, cloud migration, ETL, and modernizing data platforms while contributing to long-term governance standards across the organization.

Formación

• Experience designing scalable enterprise data architectures.

• Familiarity with DCAM or DMBOK frameworks is highly desired.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in enterprise data architecture, cloud data platforms, and data governance to support a large-scale data and analytics environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys building scalable data solutions while contributing to long-term data strategy and modernization efforts.

The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data platforms. You will play a key role in data integration, cloud migration initiatives, ETL development, and data governance programs while helping establish standards that improve data quality, accessibility, and consistency across the organization.

This position offers the opportunity to work within a growing data organization, gain exposure to complex enterprise datasets, and influence strategic decisions related to data architecture, governance, and cloud technologies.

What You'll Do

Data Architecture & Engineering

Design and build scalable enterprise data solutions.

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data integration processes and ETL workflows.
• Support cloud-based data initiatives and platform modernization projects.
• Analyze data requirements for existing and future systems.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and accessibility across multiple data sources.
• Contribute to enterprise data warehousing and integration strategies.

Data Strategy & Governance

Support effective data management and governance initiatives.

• Promote enterprise data governance best practices and standards.
• Support the development and enforcement of data policies, procedures, and controls.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve data stewardship and utilization.
• Identify opportunities for long-term data strategy and platform enhancements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Act as a trusted technical resource across the organization.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing on enterprise data initiatives.
• Lead or support complex data projects and implementation efforts.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery activities.
