Job summary

Oliver Bernard is partnering with a global management consultancy expanding its Columbus team to hire Data Engineers who can hit the ground running. This hands-on role centers on Python as the main tool, building data platforms and pipelines to solve real client problems.

You will work with engineering, data and business teams, explaining your reasoning to non engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and operate in a hybrid setup with three days in the Columbus office.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills from production environments, not just scripting.
• Proven experience building and running data pipelines at scale.
• Comfort with messy, real-world data.
• Consulting experience, or a track record of working directly with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python data pipelines and processing solutions.
• Work with large, complex datasets from enterprise clients.
• Help clients modernise their data platforms.
• Work with technical and business stakeholders to solve difficult problems.
