Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group is seeking a Data Engineer in Buffalo, NY for hybrid work. You will design, develop, and maintain data warehouse and integration solutions to support analytics and reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, requirement analysis, testing, and post-implementation support. The position requires a BS in a technical field with 3+ years of relevant experience; Databricks experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.
Data warehousing, SQL, ETL/ELT, Integration development - Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SSIS, etc.
Reporting development - Power BI, SSRS, etc.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse and integrations systems to meet analytics and reporting needs.
Analyze requirements, test and document solutions, and provide post-implementation support.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specs.
Conduct root cause analysis, review code, and ensure optimal technical infrastructure.
Maintain documentation and stay current on new technology; mentor peers.
