Job summary

KBR’s Data Engineer role is on the CHEETAS team supporting DoD modernization through data-driven decision analysis. You will develop data-driven insights using data science, ML methods, and operations research techniques to enable robust testing and evaluation capabilities.

Collaboration with a cross-functional team is essential. Onsite at Camarillo, CA with travel up to 25%, potentially higher for end-user support.

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on experience in big data analytics.
• Experience with object-oriented and functional languages (Python, R, C++, C#, Java, Scala).
• Experience in ETL processes and designing data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytic consulting services and support analytic workflow.
• Ensure stakeholders have analytic tools, data products and reports for informed decisions.
• Assist analysts and stakeholders with analysis of DoD datasets and insights.
