Job summary

Beusa Energy Group seeks an experienced Data Engineer for its The Woodlands Corporate Office to build and operate lakehouse pipelines on Databricks, optimize ingestion patterns, and develop scalable data models.

You will work with Power BI and other visualization tools, partner with operations and assets teams, and drive data quality and performance across the data platform. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS/CS/Engineering or related field; 3-5+ years data-focused experience.
• Strong PySpark and SparkSQL with advanced SQL and relational DBs (MS SQL Server preferred).
• Experience with Databricks Medallion architecture and BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Lakehouse pipelines on Databricks using Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and/or Jobs.
• Own ingestion patterns (Autoloader, CDC, streaming) optimization.
• Own data modeling, quality checks, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
