Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Integration and Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with strong expertise in Databricks, Tableau, and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing secure, scalable data integration pipelines and delivering enterprise-grade analytics and dashboards in a cloud-based environment.
This position plays a critical role in supporting modernization efforts within a federal data ecosystem. Candidates should bring hands-on knowledge of data aggregation, transformation, visualization, and AWS-based data architecture to deliver meaningful, actionable insights across mission-critical programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data integration, aggregation, and extraction workflows using Databricks.
- Develop robust data pipelines to support analytics and BI reporting needs.
- Create and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports for data visualization and decision-making.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Ensure that all solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with architectural best practices.
- Maintain awareness of current trends and best practices in data warehousing, BI, and cloud-native data architectures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data integration and BI development in cloud environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse Architecture.
- Strong experience building interactive Tableau dashboards and BI solutions.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services and cloud data architecture.
- Familiarity with federal enterprise data platforms, especially IRS EDP and analytical platforms, is highly preferred.
- Programming capabilities in several of the following: Java 17, MongoDB 5.3.x, Spring Boot, AWS DynamoDB, MSK, Kafka, React, NodeJS, Thymeleaf, PySpark
- Experience with data warehouse and BI best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Active IRS MBI Clearance required (submit with MBI letter); Laptop preferred.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Kafka and Confluent for real-time data streaming.
- Familiarity with IBM Digital Core Solutions.
- Experience supporting mainframe modernization and hybrid cloud data migration.
- Certified AWS or Databricks professional certifications.

- Application analysis tools
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (no H1 visa holders accepted).
