Job summary

XeoMatrix is seeking an experienced data engineer to design, architect, and deliver comprehensive data solutions for clients in Austin. You will work directly with customers to capture requirements, prototype designs, and develop scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes that empower data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering with Python, SQL, and REST APIs, plus familiarity with the Tableau architecture. Experience with cloud stacks and Snowflake/dbt is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience with implementing client-facing large-scale data warehouse solutions.
• Experience with Salesforce products (specifically Data Cloud) is preferred.
• Extensive experience with programming data pipelines: Python, SQL, & REST APIs required.
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, & Azure technology stacks.
• Experience implementing data solutions using Snowflake & dbt.
• Familiarity working building data lake and data warehouse architectures.
• Experience with developmental best practices: source control, PRs, CI/CD.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools.
• Experience assisting clients with migrating from legacy to modern data platforms.
• Expertise with Tableau dashboard and data visualization design is a plus.
• Industry experience in Retail, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare, and/or Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to design strategic data solutions that visualize complex data clearly.
• Architect, build, and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
• Gather requirements, prototype designs, and develop final deliverables for clients.
• Collaborate with customers to apply Tableau architecture best practices.
