Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an excellent Data Engineer for the Kumo team who loves turning large data sets into insights. You will design data architectures, build scalable ETL pipelines, and collaborate with BI Engineers, Data Scientists, ML Scientists, Business Analysts, Product Managers and other stakeholders to optimize customer experiences on AWS.

You will work to develop and improve data quality, monitoring, and availability, while leveraging AWS technologies to enable advanced

Qualifications

3+ years of data engineering experience.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
Experience with AWS technologies (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, IAM).

Responsibilities

Develop and improve data architecture, data quality, monitoring and data availability.
Collaborate with Data Scientists to implement analytics algorithms that exploit our data sets.
Partner with BAs across teams to build and verify hypotheses to improve the AWS Support business.
Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, simplifying self-service support for customers.
Keep up to date with advances in big data technologies and run pilots to scale data sets for customer experience on AWS.
