Job summary

Disney Experiences is seeking a Data Engineer to design and deploy data pipelines in AWS and Snowflake, focusing on structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. You will build data views, support architecture decisions, and ensure data quality within a cloud data warehouse environment.

You will collaborate with Disney Parks and Resorts partners to implement scalable, secure data solutions, using DBT, Snowflake, and AWS services, while contributing to an agile development process and

Qualifications

3+ years of Data Engineering or similar experience in a Data warehouse environment.
Strong knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
Solid experience with Snowflake objects and features (SnowPipe, external/internal stages, external tables, stored procedures, stream & task, data masking, time travel, cloning).
Design scalable dimensional and analytical data models for enterprise reporting and data products.
Experience building data pipelines and transformations in AWS/Snowflake ecosystems.
Experience with DBT and Agile/Scrum development.

Responsibilities

Design and develop data pipelines in AWS & Snowflake.
Develop data views and assist with architecture decisions, deployment, and feedback.
Build and maintain data quality checks and validation processes.
Provide data and system analysis for feature engineering in an enterprise theme park environment.
Collaborate with business partner groups across Disney Parks to implement optimal technical solutions.
Troubleshoot across a broad technical stack and ensure reliable data assets.
