Job summary

Northwestern Memorial Healthcare in Chicago, IL is seeking a Data Engineer Associate to power data warehouse and analytics solutions across the health system. This onsite role combines data engineering, ETL development, and SQL-based analytics to deliver usable information for teams.

You will ingest, integrate, and curate data, build analytical solutions, and partner with architecture to design scalable data models. Salary range is $40–$56 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–3+ years of experience querying, analyzing data, and/or data modeling/architecture.
• 0–3+ years of experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, integrate, and curate data to support analytics and information delivery across the organization.
• Use SQL to extract and manipulate data, including queries and stored procedures.
• Partner with the Architecture team to design and execute solutions.
• Ensure data models and databases align with approved data architecture standards.
• Create, document, and communicate the integration approach for solution components.
• Define key solutions and manage them for consumption by users and across teams.
• Assist with ETL design and development, including data analysis and mapping.
• Evaluate data quality and interpret results clearly.
