Our client, a prosperous prop trading firm with headquarters in NYC, is currently recruiting for a Data Engineer Associate on our Electronic Trading Strategies (ETS) desk. ETS focuses on identifying signals in the market and developing strategies to capture the opportunities those signals represent. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, automated trading desk.

As a Data Engineer Associate, you will…

• Collaborate with traders and researchers on feature engineering.
• Improve and support a cutting-edge, Big Data market research platform.
• Design complex relational data models.
• Implement ETL pipelines for the ingestion of market data and alternative data sets.
• Automate DAG deployment.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or other professional degree/certification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, with a focus on Data Engineering.
• Programming languages: SQL, Python.
• Training/experience with database design and administration.
