Job summary

Haver Analytics, a Midtown Manhattan-based data firm, is seeking a candidate to join the Automation team. The role focuses on building and maintaining automation platforms, data pipelines, and Python-based tooling to support macroeconomic and financial data workflows.

Three days in-office per week, with flexible hybrid arrangements. Ideal candidates have a Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent skills, and are eager to learn and proactively improve processes within a dynamic team.

Job description

Haver Analytics, a database firm tracking macroeconomic and financial data located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking energetic candidates with a Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical degree or equivalent skill set background to join our Automation team. This position will be based in our New York office. Work hours: (8:30 AM - 6:00 PM) Monday-Friday. Salary starting at $53K+

Overview

You will help the Automation team in significant initiatives to develop our internal automation platforms. You will help in maintaining and creating new data pipelines for our data team and contributing to improving existing processes for increased efficiency. You will develop new processes for data retrievals. This involves creating new python programs, troubleshooting existing scripts and running tests for data automations.

• You have a strong technical background and are familiar with Python.
• You like to be proactive and like to work in a dynamic innovative environment.
• You love learning and can independently conduct research into finding best practices for each project.

We are working in a flexible, hybrid environment of 3 days per week in-person at our office. You will need a computer with good internet connectivity at home.

Requirements
