Disney Experiences is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and oversee data architecture and software for capturing, managing, and using structured and unstructured data from diverse sources. You will work with cross‑functional teams to implement scalable data solutions and automate critical data workflows.

The role emphasizes collaboration, agile practices, and ongoing modernization of data pipelines, with opportunities to apply big data, AI, and ML techniques to improve guest experiences

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Java, or VBA for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Contri­bute across design, implementation, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and oversee deployment of data architectures and software to capture and manage data.
• Develop processes to channel, route, and store data using cloud and on‑prem storage.
• Apply data cleansing, transformation, and automation using big data, AI, and ML techniques.
• Establish design standards and assurance processes for data‑driven systems.
• Collaborate to align data operations with organizational needs and requirements.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide support escalation and assist with tool enhancement as needed.
