Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a Data Engineer for the Machine Learning Department's Delphi Group. The ideal candidate brings strong programming skills and an interest in data engineering, with experience in Airflow and agile development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
5–8 years of relevant work experience required.
Experience in agile software development, SQL, data visualization and statistics/data analytics highly desired.

Responsibilities

Writing documentation, technical papers, progress reports and participating in meetings/committees.
Contributor in developing and documenting research findings and collaborator in writing scientific papers.
Acts as team leader, providing project management direction.
Lead research efforts within main goals of project and help coordinate interactions with other team members and universities.
Propose and lead independent research goals within scope of projects.
