The Machine Learning Department (MLD) at Carnegie Mellon University is a leading hub for research and education in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The Delphi Group within MLD is seeking a Data Engineer to join the team! The ideal candidate would have experience with recent versions of Apache Airflow, but we are open to other candidates with strong programming and interpersonal skills who are interested in moving more deeply into the data engineering space. We’re looking for someone who will be a team player who is able to work with people from diverse backgrounds, with different levels of statistical, epidemiological, and software development experience, to produce an innovative product as a member of a team of academics, statistical developers and data engineers.

Core Responsibilities Writing documentation, technical papers, progress reports and participating in meetings/committees.
