Job summary

David, a growing high-protein foods brand, seeks a Data Engineer to co-own data infrastructure and build AI-powered workflows. You’ll connect ERP, retail, e‑commerce, and finance data into reliable pipelines and trusted models that power cross‑functional analytics across the company.

You will design ETL pipelines, develop dbt models, and partner with Finance, Retail and Supply Chain to set data standards while shaping the semantic layer and BI tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills to design clean, well-documented models from ERP data
• Proficiency with dbt and a cloud data warehouse like BigQuery
• Python proficiency for pipelines, automation, and data workflows
• Familiarity with modern AI tooling and building automated data solutions
• Ability to operate independently and communicate priorities clearly

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines from source systems into BigQuery with testing and data quality checks
• Develop canonical dbt models for sales, inventory, fulfillment, financials, and S&OP data
• Partner with Finance, Retail, Supply Chain, and Growth to turn requirements into data solutions
• Co-own semantic layer and BI tooling (Omni), defining metrics for reporting
• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows for document parsing, data extraction, and enrichment
• Automate recurring reporting and ad hoc analyses to improve organizational visibility
