Outmarket AI is hiring a Data Engineer to own the data plane powering analytics and AI products. You’ll turn messy insurance data into clean, trustworthy datasets used to drive insights and automation.

In this role you’ll build ingestion pipelines from agency management systems, carriers and documents, design bronze to silver to fact transformations, and optimize data models for performance and cost.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production data pipelines with SQL and Python.
• Strong relational modeling with Postgres and large analytic datasets.
• Ability to turn messy source data into reliable product capabilities.
• Demonstrated ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate ingestion pipelines from agency management systems, carriers, and documents.
• Design transformation layers (bronze → silver → fact) and the models that serve insights and dashboards.
• Model and tune data across Postgres and ClickHouse for correctness, performance, and cost.
• Define dataset configurations, KPIs, and reconciliation checks that keep numbers trustworthy.
• Orchestrate reliable, observable data jobs and own data quality end to end.
