Job Summary

Responsible for designing, building and overseeing the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions and software to capture, manage, store and utilize structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources. Establishes and builds processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multiple inputs, route appropriately and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required. Develops technical tools and programming that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize and transform data and to maintain, defend and update data structures and integrity on an automated basis. Creates and establishes design standards and assurance processes for software, systems and applications development to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows and storage requirements. Reviews internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggests changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs. Work with data modelers/analysts to understand the business problems they are trying to solve then create or augment data assets to feed their analysis. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

OVERVIEW

This key role is responsible for development and configuration of SAP Analytics cloud tool within UNIVERSAL Corporate technology. It should deliver an efficient SAP Planning and Analytical capability to support multiple business sectors requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build SAP BW solutions specific to SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP BW4/HANA, including data source integration and complex report creation.
• Develop BW and BPC solutions on the BW/4 HANA platform and Datasphere.
• Create business reports based on HANA CDS Views from S/4 HANA and BW/4HANA.
• Utilize technologies such as native HANA modelling, HANA Smart Data Integration, SAP SLT, ABAP CDS Views, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW4/HANA, Power BI, Google Big Query, and AWS Redshift.
• Build complex analytics solutions requiring data blending from various sources.
• Own the entire design to deployment process with minimal supervision.
• Lead and support development, testing, and go-live of analytics solutions.
• Strong programming experience in SAP ABAP and understanding of SAP BPC and data integration.
• Collaborate with teams to develop solutions based on user stories and problem statements.
• Implement AI and ML solutions using Python scripting within SAP platforms.
• Follow Agile methodologies to develop solutions iteratively.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining delivery schedules.
• Provide recommendations and develop customized solutions for data and analytics needs.
• Develop new planning scenarios, interfaces, DSO’s, and reporting structures based on business needs.
• Assist with stabilization and simplification initiatives to improve SAP Analytics processes and performance.
• Demonstrate experience with BW, BPC, and cloud-based analytics solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Utilize reporting tools like SAP AOE, EPM, Power BI, and SAP SAC.

Support and Service

• Maintain and update support and operations documentation.
• Participate in production support during key activity periods.
• Ensure data consistency across SAC and related systems.
• Improve master data interfaces to eliminate issues.
• Coordinate with Business Engagement teams for issue resolution and relationship building.

Other Responsibilities

• Investigate data flows between SAC, SAP BW, SAP BPC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP sources.
• Analyze source systems and data extracts for SAP and non-SAP sources.
• Strong understanding of financial analytics, especially in finance and HCM domains.
