Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Engineer in Waipahu, Hawaii, to architect and deploy data security solutions across various clients in the Indo-Pacific region. This role requires expertise in managing data security solutions and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of security measures.
The successful candidate will also mentor junior engineers, adhere to federal security protocols, and contribute to optimizing data-centric delivery across hybrid cloud environments.
Architect, deploy, and operate data security solutions across various DoW clients in the Indo-Pacific. Employ new architectures to meet client requirements adhering to Zero Trust best practices and IC data header guidelines. Interface with key stakeholders and users, including internal delivery and engineering teams and cybersecurity professionals, to assure resilient data‑centric delivery. Assist in building custom policy to ensure positive control of data across hybrid cloud environments. Mentor the next set of data engineers to help them grow into tomorrow’s data architects.

Salary range: $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The projected compensation range for this position is determined by various factors including location, education, and experience. Employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
