Job summary

Graebel Companies, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer in the United States to design and implement data infrastructure that consolidates data from multiple sources.

You will enable routine and ad-hoc analysis, support data-driven decisions, and help scale data pipelines for enterprise needs. The role emphasizes building modern data pipelines, applying AI-ready data practices, SQL and Python proficiency, and collaborating with partners to deliver trusted analytics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience.
  • 4+ years with Azure Databricks.
  • Experience preparing and governing data for analytics and ML use cases.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Strong skills in T-SQL and ANSI SQL.
  • Proficient in Python for data tasks and integration.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to provide the necessary tools for routine and non-routine data analysis.
  • Accelerate all efforts through leveraging AI.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, drawing on your strong business acumen.
  • Analyze current business practices, processes, and procedures to identify future opportunities.
  • Assess client needs to create customized data design services.
  • Offer exceptional support to our business partners.
  • Develop the foundational components for evolving enterprise data solutions.
  • Architect and construct modern data pipelines.
  • Implement effective metrics and monitoring systems.
  • Make independent decisions and provide guidance to your peers.
  • Create and promote technical best practices for modeling and report design.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

As a Data Engineer, you play a vital role in our commitment to data-driven decision-making. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
  • Experience supporting AI-ready data solutions, including preparing, transforming, and governing data for analytics, machine learning, and generative AI use cases.
  • Proficiency in version control platforms like Git.
  • Mastery of TSQL and ANSI SQL
  • Strong understanding and capability in Python for data-related tasks and integration.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with Survey Data
  • Background in the relocation industry.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and Power Query.
