The Data Engineer will manage an Azure-based data warehouse, develop scalable data pipelines, and implement optimized target data models. This role requires close collaboration with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.

Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Azure-based data warehouse performance, security, and availability.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Azure-native tools.
- Implement end-state target data models to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Collaborate with analysts to optimize data for Power BI dashboards and reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions and provide technical guidance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data architecture, pipelines, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 1–2 years in data engineering
- Experience in Python for data pipelines and transformation
- Experience in data modeling, schema design, and optimization
- Experience in Power BI data consumption and reporting
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with version control (Git).
- Preferred: Experience in financial services or investment management.
- Preferred: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps in Azure, and advanced analytics.
- Preferred: Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
