Job summary

Bridgenext is seeking an experienced Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components such as Data Factory, Lakehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, OneLake, and Synapse. The role emphasizes data modeling, ETL/ELT best practices, and end-to-end analytics with Power BI integration.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in data engineering, strong SQL/PySpark skills, and experience in cloud environments (Azure).

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components: Data Factory, Lakehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, OneLake, and Synapse.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Dataflow Gen2.
• Experience with Delta Lake formats and medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Familiarity with Power BI integration for end-to-end analytics.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT best practices, and data warehousing.
• Experience working in cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Fabric Data Engineer with 46 years of experience in data engineering and cloud analytics, with a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures using Fabric's integrated components (Data Factory, Synapse, OneLake, etc.) to support enterprise analytics and business intelligence.

Must Have Skills:

• 4–6 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components: Data Factory, Lakehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, OneLake, and Synapse.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Dataflow Gen2.

• Familiarity with Power BI integration for end-to-end analytics.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., DP-600: Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate).

• Knowledge of data governance, Purview, or Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
• Exposure to machine learning workflows in Fabric or integration with Azure ML is a plus.
