Continuus Technologies LLC is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to shape our data architecture and lead scalable, secure data platforms. You will define standards for modeling, reliability, and governance while guiding complex migrations and upgrades.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive best practices, and collaborate with executives to align data strategy with business goals, including real-time analytics and ML initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years hands-on data engineering experience building large-scale data platforms.
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python or similar languages.
• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, distributed systems; strong architectural skills.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related disciplines is required, demonstrating a proven track record of designing, building, and operating large-scale data platforms. Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python or similar programming languages are essential. Candidates should have extensive experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and distributed systems, along with strong systems thinking and architectural decision-making skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, as well as familiarity with streaming and real-time systems like Kafka, Spark, or Flink. Additional knowledge of data governance, security, compliance, and supporting machine learning or AI initiatives will be considered advantageous. The ability to influence technical strategy without direct managerial authority is also highly valued.
