Job Title

Azure Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Fabric Dataflows.
• Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures on Azure.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations in SQL Server and Synapse SQL Pools.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration solutions using Python and Azure services.
• Manage and optimize Azure Storage solutions (ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage).
• Leverage Power BI and Fabric for data modeling, dataset creation, and dashboard/report development.
• Integrate and utilize Azure OpenAI for data enrichment, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics where applicable.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across the data lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues, optimize performance, and support production workloads.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
