Job summary

Centurion Consulting Group is seeking a data and AI-focused professional to design and apply GenAI and AgenticAI methods for real-world defense intelligence missions. You will produce whitepapers and executive briefings, guiding federal clients on AI strategy and deployment across on-prem and cloud environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, an active TS/SCI clearance, and at least 3 years of Python data science experience.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• 3+ years of experience in Python.
• 3+ years executing data science methodologies using common programming or scripting languages.
• Ability to work on-site in Tampa, FL 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and apply GenAI and AgenticAI methods to solve complex, real-world problems.
• Serve as an AI thought leader by producing whitepapers, presentations, executive briefings, reports, and other materials that support AI solutions and services.
• Provide guidance to federal clients with high autonomy across AI strategy and development, including exploratory data analysis, building and validating models, and deploying models to on-prem and cloud environments.
• Act as a subject matter expert to GPS clients and the global AI partner ecosystem.
• Iterate on and/or create repeatable, reusable processes and scalable data systems that address deployment challenges.
• Maintain data science best practices while evaluating new methodologies, technologies, industry trends, and open-source packages.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other scientists and data engineers, as well as the federal account manager and leadership, to support project delivery.

This role contributes to a defense intelligence mission by developing proofs of concept and minimum viable products, using NLP, generative AI, and agentic AI to help teams build capabilities that can mature and scale.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and apply GenAI and AgenticAI methods to solve complex, real-world problems
• Serve as an AI thought leader by producing whitepapers, presentations, executive briefings, reports, and other materials that support AI solutions and services
• Provide guidance to federal clients with high autonomy across AI strategy and development, including understanding agency needs, conducting exploratory data analysis, building and validating models, and deploying models to on-prem and cloud environments
• Act as a subject matter expert to GPS clients and the global AI partner ecosystem
