Data Engineer

Job Location: WinWire Technologies, Inc., 5201 Great America Pkwy., Suite 259, Santa Clara, CA 95054; and various unanticipated locations in the US

Assess and analyze the source system and data set expectations for data extracts. Apply the architectural principles on Databricks for the Azure Cloud/Data Application Environments. Develop and deliver effective ETL solutions to enhance and automate data loads into a common warehouse enabling client to centralize various data domains: Create/Modify a generic, metadata-driven Azure Data Factory solution that orchestrates end-to-end flow from various data sources to final warehouse; Create/Modify PySpark Databricks notebooks to apply the business transformations and implement data governance rules. Schedule jobs and processes to import and maintain data into multiple applications. Build automated pipelines to extract data from SAP and integrate it with non-SAP enterprise data sources. Document all support tasks in adherence to CMM level standards.

Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Requires 5 years of experience with Azure Data Factory, SAP, and CI/CD in job offered, Software Consultant, Senior Consultant, IT Engineer, Technical Lead, or related occupation. Requires travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations in the U.S.
