Job summary

Pathway Partners LLC in New York is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a government agency client. The role is hybrid in NYC with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, requiring commuting distance to NYC. 7-hour workdays, 12 holidays per year, plus vacation and sick leave.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project execution from start to finish.
• Create reports summarizing key metrics from reporting databases.
• Import key data points from multiple reporting sources including data warehouse.
• Create ad-hoc reports based on data metrics.
• Produce reports for other departments with relevant metrics.
• Act as Power BI SME, advising on reports and workspace management.

Pathway Partners LLC is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support a client's team that supports the deployment of various applications for a government agency.

Work Requirements

The work is located in NYC and is on a hybrid basis. The client would require 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Candidates must live in commuting distance from NYC. This position typically requires 7-hour workdays and would have 12 holidays per year, in addition to vacation and sick leave. Pathway provides health insurance to full-time workers.

Tasks & Duties

• Assist in managing project execution from start through completion
• Create business reports summarizing key metrics relevant to data post-import from reporting databases
• Import key data points on various key factors from multiple reporting sources including reporting databases, Enterprise data warehouse, etc.
• Create ad-hoc reports based on data metrics
• Creating business reports for other departments including tracking with relevant metrics
• Fulfil role as Microsoft Power BI SME, advising on creation of business reports, workspace management etc. within the new Microsoft Power BI framework, as needed
• Create new business reports, datasets and dashboards in Power BI, including paginated reports as needed

RequiredSkills

A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:

• Oracle and MS SQL Server 2028 SQL and PL/SQL
• Microsoft Power BI, MS Excel, VB Script
