Elara Caring is hiring a Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in building and maintaining data platforms that empower enterprise reporting and analytics. You will develop SQL Server and Snowflake workflows, construct ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions across clinical, operational, and financial data domains.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and cost optimization, with guidance from the Data Engineer Team Lead.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, data warehousing, or similar.
• Strong SQL development, data modeling, integration, and analytics expertise.

Mansioni

• Develop and support SQL Server and Snowflake platforms for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines integrating clinical, operational, financial, and external data into the Elara Insight Data Platform.
• Maintain data models and assets supporting dashboards and self-service analytics.

As a Data Engineer you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Develop and support SQL Server and Snowflake platforms for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines integrating clinical, operational, financial, and external data into the Elara Insight Data Platform.
• Maintain trusted data models and assets supporting dashboards and self-service analytics.
• Optimize platform performance, reliability, scalability, data quality, and costs.
• Support SQL Server operations and Snowflake modernization while ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
• Partner with business and technical teams to deliver data solutions aligned with organizational needs.
• Maintain CI/CD, Git source control, and automated deployments.
• Follow data governance, security, HIPAA, and Elara Caring policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What is Required?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, scientific discipline, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, database development, or data warehousing.
• Strong SQL development, data modeling, integration, and analytics expertise.
• Hands-on enterprise SQL Server and Snowflake experience, including administration, tuning, security, ingestion, high availability, and cost optimization.
• ETL/ELT development using Azure Data Factory, Python, SQL, PowerShell, or similar tools.
• Experience building dimensional models, star schemas, and datasets for Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• At least 2 years partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Cloud platforms, Agile, Git, and CI/CD experience preferred.
• Meets all applicable agency policies and procedures related to health screening and required testing.
