Amazon in Colorado Springs is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to elevate safety programs, lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments, while integrating technology and human-centered solutions to protect associates.

You will train staff, build partnerships across levels, and model safety excellence, influencing culture and incident prevention with a focus on data-driven improvements and rapid emergency responses.

Qualifications

• OSHA regulations knowledge (29 CFR 1910) required.
• 1 year in an EHS field or a bachelor's in an EHS-related background or 6 months safety role at Amazon.
• Experience using MS Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Confidentiality in matters involving security or personal issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advise associates on safety and drive behavioral change across the site.
• Support emergency response and first aid readiness at the site.
