Job summary

Jackson James is seeking a Functional Supply Chain Analyst for a multinational partner in Houston. The role focuses on analyzing supply chain, inventory, purchasing and international importing, turning data into actionable insights to improve stock availability and performance.

You will work with Purchasing, Warehousing, Finance, Sales and Operations to identify trends, manage KPIs, and drive improvements in lead times, costs and service levels.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to analyse supply chain metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Experience with inventory analysis, purchasing patterns and lead times.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse supply chain, inventory and purchasing performance to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor key supply chain metrics including stock availability, inventory levels, turns and supplier performance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise inventory levels while maintaining product availability and service levels.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Finance, Sales and Operations to resolve performance issues and implement improvements.
  • Analyse demand, stock movements and supplier lead times to flag shortages or excess inventory and trigger replenishment actions.
  • Develop and improve supply chain reporting, dashboards and KPIs.
  • Investigate root causes of supply chain issues and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Analyse international purchasing and importing activity including landed costs and tariffs.
