Job summary

Kito Crosby, part of the Columbus McKinnon family, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to assemble data, analyze performance, and identify issues, developing recommendations to support planning and operations. You will aim to understand customer needs and act to meet them.

You'll analyze data to meet KPIs, build supply plans, manage supplier lead-times, generate orders, coordinate materials for new products, and ensure inventory is optimized while maintaining customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, logistics, information systems or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a quantitative and analytical role.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledge, skills, abilities and software requirements.
• Quantitative and analytical: highly numerate with ability to perform statistical analysis on large data sets.
• Problem-solving: able to identify and resolve problems.
• Critical thinking: relate abstract data to decisions with incomplete information.
• Strategic and analytical thinker with long-term focus.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration and strong communication.
• Apt for learning: quickly learn and use necessary tools.
• MRP and inventory planning knowledge; JDE experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to meet KPIs and recommend process improvements.
• Generate supply plans using historical sales data and trends.
• Maintain accurate supplier lead-times and adjust inventory based on demand and initiatives.
• Create purchase orders based on supply plan and ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Perform order confirmation management and reconciliation.
• Analyze shipping schedules and reconcile discrepancies with vendors.
• Coordinate materials for new product introductions.
• Control product phase-outs to minimize inventory exposure.
• Maintain standard work processes and supply chain documentation.
• Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
• Prepare and complete reports as assigned.
