Job summary

Columbus McKinnon Corporation seeks a Supply Chain Analyst to assemble data, analyze performance, and identify problems, developing recommendations to support planning and operations. You will meet customer needs by taking actions that align with commitments, while ensuring accuracy in inventory and supplier plans.

Responsibilities include analyzing KPIs, forecasting, managing POs, coordinating with vendors, and producing reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Systems or related
• Minimum 1 year experience in a quantitative and analytical role
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint and Word
• Quantitative and analytical: Highly numerate and able to perform statistical analysis on large data sets
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems
• Critical thinking: Ability to relate data to decisions with incomplete information
• Strategic and analytical thinking for long-term results
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration
• Strong written and oral communication to produce weekly reports
• Thorough knowledge of MRP and inventory planning; JDE experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Regularly provide analysis of supply chain data to ensure KPIs are met and recommend process improvements
• Utilize historical sales data with trends to generate supply plans and forecasts
• Maintain accurate supplier lead-times and replenishment rules; adjust inventory based on demand and promotions
• Generate purchase orders from supply plan and ensure smooth flow of goods
• Perform order confirmation management and reconciliations
• Analyze shipping schedules and reconcile discrepancies with vendors and stakeholders
• Attend product team meetings and coordinate materials for new product introductions
• Control product phase-outs and end-of-life to minimize inventory exposure
• Create, update, and maintain standard work and supply chain documentation
• Ensure high level of customer service and timely responses to inquiries
• Prepare and complete reports as assigned
