Job summary

Woodland Park School District RE-2 is seeking an Elementary Social Worker to support student success through collaboration at Summit Elementary and Columbine Elementary. The ideal candidate will build a comprehensive Student Services program, utilize data-driven insights, and work with diverse student needs, including IEPs.

This role requires a commitment to all students and involves developing strategies, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and educators to foster a nurturing educational environment. The position starts in the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work (MSW).
• Meets Colorado Department of Education certification requirements for Special Service Provider (SSP).
• Ability to learn the student information system (Infinite Campus).
• Familiarity with Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Student Services program with school and district administration.
• Assess student needs and make referrals to appropriate personnel and agencies.
• Participate in risk assessments and intervene during crisis situations.
• Collaborate with educators and families to advocate for student needs.
