Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Store Planning Intern to help shape the merchandising strategy and financial direction for guest experiences across Disney stores in the Orlando area. This 6‑month, full‑time internship runs January 2027 through June 2027 and offers hands-on experience in merchandise financials and trend analysis.

As part of the Store Planning team, you will apply analytical skills to optimize product flow, forecast demand, and support product storytelling across locations,

Qualifications

Experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, or business development (internships or projects count)
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of merchandise planning, financials, forecasting, and trend analysis

Responsibilities

Analyze performance using reports, KPIs, and trend data to maximize revenue and guest engagement.
Forecast inventory needs and presentation quantities for launches and events.
Develop merch strategies with Planning and Strategy teams using guest insights and financial data.
Create product flow calendars and floor plans with Visual Presentation for cohesive storytelling.
Recommend replenishment and backfill strategies to maintain inventory levels and data integrity.
Coordinate with Operations to ensure execution of merch plans.
