Job summary

Qwoted is seeking a data-savvy storyteller to turn PR and journalist-pattern data into visuals and short write-ups for social channels. You will leverage internal data to uncover patterns in source requests and pitch activity, creating compelling visuals and caption-ready summaries.

You’ll analyze platform data, design graphics, and package findings with context, methodology notes, and quotes to support newsroom stories. East Coast hours or US availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to find the interesting thread in a dataset.
• Experience creating data visuals that gain media pickup.
• Able to translate graphs into social-friendly formats (carousels or videos).
• Capable of building interactive visuals.
• Newsroom/journalism background is a plus.
• US-based/ East Coast hours preferred for overlap.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling content for social channels.
• Analyze platform data to find angles worth telling.
• Build clean charts and graphics ready for social distribution.
• Write punchy captions and summaries explaining the context.
• Package findings with data, notes, quotes and sources for stories.
• Suggest new angles by exploring the data beyond requested topics.
