Qualifications

  • Master's degree in school psychology.
  • Valid state license/certification for the position.
  • Experience with students with disabilities and significant needs.
  • Experience providing staff development in academic and behavioral interventions.
  • Experience working with mental health and behavior in educational systems.
  • Experience with diverse populations and closing achievement gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data-based decision making and program evaluation across the district.
  • Provide assessment, multi-factored evaluations, and consultation for individual students.
  • Develop prevention programs and PBIS for district, buildings, and teams.
  • Offer staff training and on-going consultation on alternatives to suspension.
  • Coordinate ETR/IEP processes and review functional assessments.
  • Collaborate with parents, families, and community partners.
