Job summary

Jobtailor in New York City is seeking a Sales Operations intern to support internal teams across Sales, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success with data analysis, reporting, and process improvements.

You will build reports in Salesforce and Excel, help ensure data integrity, and learn how Sales Operations drives revenue retention. Actively enrolled students with strong Excel/SQL interest encouraged.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a business-related degree program.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Google Docs.
• Demonstrated leadership through roles in school or community.
• Professional, outgoing, energetic with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
• Experience using Excel, Word, and Google Docs is a plus.
• Minimal travel.
• Reliable internet access for remote work outside Workiva office.

Responsibilities

• Support internal teams including Sales, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success
• Perform sales data analysis, contract renewal engagement, revenue retention support, reporting/dashboarding, and data cleaning
• Perform Sales Analytics and Reporting tasks to support sales team performance
• Build reports and dashboards using Salesforce, BI tools, and Excel
• Promote process improvement for new and existing processes
• Validate and research sales-related activities to maintain data integrity
• Build working relationships across the organization to integrate Sales Operations with supported teams
• Support the sales team in data collection and interpretation to drive increased sales production
