Job summary

YipitData is seeking a Product Development Associate to join our New Product Development team. You’ll evaluate third‑party datasets, support new product development, and help identify opportunities that create value for clients and the business.

This role offers significant autonomy with collaboration across engineering, partnerships, and product teams, and you’ll apply AI tools and automation to improve research and productivity while shaping data-driven opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related field.
• Strong SQL and/or PySpark skills with large datasets.
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses.
• Comfort using AI tools and LLMs to improve efficiency while maintaining independent thinking.
• Open-ended environment with high ownership and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and build upon third-party datasets to assess quality and business value.
• Define questions, success metrics, and analytical frameworks for projects.
• Conduct quantitative analyses and translate findings into recommendations.
• Support development and improvement of new products, datasets, and data-driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with analysts to plan, develop, and execute complex projects.
• Prioritize high-impact opportunities and drive progress with autonomy.
• Explore new use cases and methodologies for datasets and products.
