Job summary

YipitData is seeking a Product Development Associate to join the New Product Development team. You will evaluate third-party datasets, support new product development, and identify opportunities that create value for clients and the business.

You’ll work with engineering, partnerships, and business stakeholders to take ideas from concept to evaluation and recommendation. The role offers significant autonomy with collaboration, cross-functional exposure, and East/West Coast work hours.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related field.
• Strong SQL and/or PySpark skills with large datasets.
• Able to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and build upon third-party datasets to assess value and use cases.
• Define questions, success metrics, and analytical frameworks for open-ended projects.
• Conduct quantitative analyses and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Support development of new products and data-driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, partnerships, and product teams to deliver projects.
