Job summary

Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. in Rock Spring, GA is seeking a Buyer/PMO Specialist to support procurement and project management within PC&L. You will execute purchasing, manage supplier relationships, and help ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance.

This role requires strong organization, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to maintain records, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in procurement, supply chain analysis, or related manufacturing environment.
• Experience in cost analysis, data management, or supplier performance reporting.
• Automotive or Tier-1 manufacturing background preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dashboards and spend analysis reports for spending, supplier performance, and cost trends.
• Assist with RFQs by analyzing pricing, terms, and supplier competitiveness.
• Monitor and track PO activity, delivery schedules, and material availability.
• Support compliance by maintaining procedures and record-keeping for audits.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production Control, Engineering, and Quality to ensure data integrity.
• Conduct market research and benchmark pricing; assess supply risks.
• Participate in cost reform and VA/VE projects; support continuous improvement.
• Prepare executive summaries, operational reports, and risk assessments.
